More than a church.
A community.

First Congregational Church of Wilmette has been a gathering place for seekers, thinkers, and doers since 1875. We are a United Church of Christ congregation — Open and Affirming — which means every person is truly welcome at our table.

Whether you grew up in church, left it behind, or never set foot in one — whether you have questions, doubts, or deep faith — there is a place for you here.

Faith in action.
Right here and far away.

FCCW has a long history of showing up — from resettling nearly 400,000 refugees after WWII to civil rights and fair housing activism, to our ongoing work with Connections for the Homeless in Evanston and our interfaith partnership with Congregation Sukkat Shalom.
